Snowy Tawny owl

Every once in a while, everything falls in the right place… I photographed this Tawny owl a week before a severe snow storm arrived. The day of the snow storm I suddenly realized that if this owl was at this roosting site, he would have the snow from the side of his face…

But would I risk going out the 30 kilometre ride during code red traffic conditions? If I would not even try, I knew I would feel very sorry later.

I could not have been happier with the resulting photo. This quickly became one of my favourite photos ever. I hope you enjoy this print as much as I did making it.

Printed on Hahnemühle Matt FineArt Photo Rag. This 100%  cotton paper has a fine texture which adds to the story of this photo. A layer of protective spray add extra protection to scratches and humidity.

The print comes standard printed with my digital signature. This is optional and be left out. The photo will then be aligned on the middle of the paper. If you want to sent this as a gift to someone else, please let me know their name for the certificate of authenticity. If you have any other wishes, let me know.

All orders include free worldwide shipping. A4 prints are shipped in a presentation box. A3 prints are shipped in a cardboard box. Includes 21% VAT. Frame and pass partout are not included.
