Otter ‘One Eye’

50.00 inc. VAT

An opportunity like this only comes by every once in a while. Otters in the heart of an old city’s canals. My creative juices start flowing, and I come up with an idea for a composition. I was over the moon when I found out everything worked out as planned.

There are multiple otters living in this canal. At least four individuals have been recognised on camera-traps. On the photo a male otter, named One Eye. A name given because his right eye is blind.

I am só happy with this photo! This is one of my all-time favourites. I hope you will enjoy this print as much as I had making it.

In this vlog I show how I made this photo.

Update April 2022: This photo became the winner of the category Humans & Nature, and consequently the overall winner of the Lowland Photo Contest 2021! It earned me the title Lowland Photographer of the Year 2021 (LOWPOTY 2021)
